No rain in site provided for a hot night of racing at Volusia Karting!  Sean was at the top of his game, posting the fastest lap times for his division all night.  He backed up the times with his second feature win of the season.  Justin had a great night as well, with a hard fought second place finish in the feature - after battling with the leader right up to the checkered flag.

Next race is back at Volusia on May 12th.

03-24-12 Season Opener Vega State Series at Volusia

Saturday marked the innaugural race of the new Vega State Series, a 6 race series competing once a month at 2 different tracks.  Justin will be the only driver competing in this series for our team.

Justin took the track in the LO206 division, and after qualifying 4th he rallied to the WIN in the feature. It was a long day, with a lengthy rain delay that completely changed the track surface. Justin made his move to the lead early, and held on while many couldn't. Even when challenged by the 2nd place kart he held his line to take the win. The next State series event will be at Fruitland Park in April.

2011 Volusia Awards Banquet

2012: The Plan!

The plan for the 2012 Racing season is for all 3 drivers to continue at Volusia Karting.  Justin will continue running the Raptor Heavy and LO206 Adult divisions.  Sean will be moving up a division to Gold.  Andrew is also anticipated to move up to the Blue division. 

All 3 will continue to promote Racing Against Drugs, and we are looking forward to having a RAD Day at the Races early in the season.
